Ophelia Wright plays like Stevie Ray Vaughn if he had a residency at C.B.G.B.’s. That being with a whole lot of punk rock fire and a whole lot of soul. Ophelia is a guitar player of fourteen years with a passion for blues, punk, jazz-fusion, and all things rock and roll. Her musical influences range from Gary Clark Jr. to East Bay Ray to Corey Beaulieu. She strives to incorporate many different influences in her playing style and writings.

Ophelia is currently pursuing her degree in Commercial Guitar at Belmont University. In addition to earning her degree, Ophelia also regularly gigs with her band STCHZ as well as her guitar duo; The Keith-Wright Duo. STCHZ (pronounced Stitches), is a Nashville based, female fronted pop-punk band. They are currently in the process of preparing their first two singles for release in the coming months, along with gigging in the Nashville area.

Ophelia’s other project, The Keith-Wright Duo is a guitar focused classical and jazz duo that is a partnership with STCHZ’s other guitar player, Nathan Keith. The pair aim to use their Belmont guitar training and their rock and roll stylings to put their own spin on classical and jazz guitar.
